Both Dawn and Cerise in the office were very cordial, knowledgeable, and helpful in my quest to rent a storage locker in short order. Not only was the location only a mile from the house we were vacating, but Power's rates were 30-40% less expensive than U-Haul and other rental units in the greater Kona area. The access hours were ample and the units are clean and well-managed. In particular (as explained to me) each unit is alarmed and set upon exit, so if someone other than the unit's owner were to use the gate code and try to break into that unit, the alarm goes off. Pretty cool. And … they gave me an outstanding one-month introductory rate. All in all, I was totally pleased with this storage facility.

I rented a small closet in the air-conditioned section of this storage facility for 3 years. Reba set up the original contract for me. Then Cerise later took over when Reba retired. Recently, she was joined by Sam. All three ladies were stellar in their service. They are kind, friendly, and highly competent. Every year I sent several packages to the facilities and they always took good care of them for me, even when there was some hiccup with the delivery. The facility was always clean, the temperature at around 75F, and always free of pest and insects. I no longer need this storage unit, but I highly recommend Power Self Storage.

When I stored my vehicle for a year due to injury, Reba put a cover on it free of charge after discovering my soft top had popped stitching and was no longer waterproof. So grateful! Would DEFINITELY recommend this facility to all who ask! ????

She couldn't confirm the monthly rate. She said "if you really want to know then I will have to go to my desk". Heaven forbid. Then I ask her if once I rent a unit – could you let my ex husband in who will be dropping my belongings off in the unit. Reba said "No, but you can let him in." No, Reba I can't because I was granted a restraining order against him. She was extremely rude and unprofessional! I will NEVER recommend this place. She then emailed me stating she can't rent me a unit due to the fact of the restraining order. So because I have a restraining order against my ex husband who has physically and mentally abused me I can't rent a unit here? Thanks Reba! Maybe you should look into finding some warmth, love and grace in your life!
